Molecular beam photoionization apparatus with time-of-flight mass spectrometer.

Aerosol reaction and detection platform with smog reactor, aerosol photoionization mass spectrometer, GC-MS, TSI differential mobility analyzer and condensation particle counter

Radical reaction system with flash photolytic laser, flow reaction tube, Laval nozzle (temperature range: 50 – 300 K).

Photoabsorption cell equipment for measurements of VUV photoabsorption,-ionization, -dissociation cross sections. 

 

Scientific applications
Photoionization and photodissociation dynamics: energy and structure for atoms, molecules, radicals, clusters.

Aerosol chemistry: aerosol mass spectroscopy, secondary organic aerosol, multiphase reaction.
Atmospheric radical chemistry: radical reaction kinetics, rate coefficient, (isomer) reaction mechanism.
