Beamline Layout

To enhance the flux at the sample position, the soft X-ray imaging beamline employs a multi-stage Wiggler as the light source. The diagram below illustrates the beamline layout. The primary optical components include a super-polished toroidal collimating mirror, a plane grating, a super-polished toroidal focusing mirror, and an exit slit. The divergent synchrotron radiation emitted from the source is transformed into parallel light by the collimating mirror, monochromatized by the plane grating, and subsequently focused by the focusing mirror onto the center of the exit slit.
