Dynamic oxygen adsorption on single-atomic Ruthenium catalyst

    Based on the infrared beamline of HLS, Prof. Yao Tao’s group has developed in-situ SR-infrared spectroscopy and XAS. Using operando techniques, they designed a high-active single-atom Ru electrocatalyst, and identified that the Ru-N4 active site undergoes a dynamically oxygen adsorption to form O-Ru-N4 configuration during acid oxygen evolution reaction [Nature Communications 10:4849(2019)].
