1. Give a general and brief presentation on particle physics and CERN in particular
2. Present CERN specific techniques
3. Explain the alignment process of a particle accelerator taking as an example the LHC
4. Present some high accurate permanent monitoring system/devices installed in the LHC and some new concepts that we are studying for CLIC. I propose that this part could be given by Hélène.
